CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa will become the ambassador of Busan’s One Asia Festival.
On Oct. 21, Jung will receive his appointment plaque from the Busan Mayor Seo Byungsu, kickstarting his promotion of 2016 Busan One Asia Festival.
An associate of City of Busan revealed, “Through this event, we wish to bring Asia’s representative shows and art forms together with Hallyu and foster a new paradigm for a pan-national brand for tourism. We are appointing Jung Yonghwa as the face of the festival, as he is the representative Hallyu star from Busan who has a great role in spreading Hallyu culture in China.”
Especially, Jung Yonghwa has participated as a special guest in the most popular Chinese TV variety show, “Happy Camp” to introduce Busan himself and thoroughly showcased his love for his hometown. Also, he appeared in the Chinese sitcom “Dior’s Man” as a first Korean artist, and topped the 2015 Gaon Weibo chart for 43 weeks in a row, establishing himself as a representative Hallyu star.
